Lately when Josh comes home from the law library Ava is already in bed. If she's still awake, we let her spend some time with Daddy. Some nights they read, or play a game (remember the rhyming fiasco?), or put together a puzzle.

Guess who gets to play bad cop and calm the crazy laughing child for bed? Wouldn't trade these times for anything, though I do feel a little sorry for our castle neighbors.

Daddies are great at making them crazy before bed-how come the 'daddy magic' can't conveniently happen when they are melting down during the day.

That was just precious!!! I know it was good for Ava and I know that Josh needed it too! Now I have had a partial Ava fix. Can't wait to see you for our Canton visit!!!!

I love to hear that girl laugh! I'm just really disappointed Josh has found another cardboard jousting partner.
I haven't read your blog in a few weeks. Ava is so beautiful! I love the Easter pics. And don't worry, you aren't the only one with kids up at night! :)
