On January 1, 2005 Josh and I were married. Five years ago! I can't believe it's been five years, and I can't believe it's only been five years...if that makes sense at all. I know this blog is usually all Ava all the time, but this post is about us. Enjoy a trip through our wedding day.
Here is the chapel.

Josh and I chose to see each other before our wedding. I absolutely hate sitting at a reception for an hour waiting for the wedding party to finish pictures. We refused to put our friends and family through such torture. Plus, who wants to miss a minute of their reception?
Our photographer set up the chapel with no one inside but the two of us (and him, snapping away). Josh had his back turned until I walked about halfway down the aisle.
Spending a few minutes admiring one another before the day gets crazy.
This is one of my sweetest memories of our wedding day.
The whole wedding party
Note the beautiful light streaming in the windows. If we'd waited to do pictures after the ceremony the photos would have been cavernous.
It's official!
Everyone waving goodbye
This shot always makes me want to sing the song 'So Long, Farewell' from The Sound of Music

Congrats! Hope the next 5 years are even better than your first! Love you guys!
Thanks for sharing your special day! Wishing you many more wonderful years-God has great plans for the Locketts, so glad it includes at least a few years in Norman.
Happy Anniversary, guys! What a wonderful walk down memory lane. You were (and continue to be...) a lovely bride!
Doesn't seem possible that its been that long ago and now I'm planning for one myself. I love how you can barely see me and mom in the goodbye photo. Congrats guys and miss you bunches!
Happy Anniversary!!
Aw! :) What a beautiful wedding! Congrats on five great years!
I am seriously drooling over that groom's cake.
Granted, I just came off four days of feeding my parents straight vegan (their jump start to reversing diabetes). I love eating healthy, but I could take out the top two layers of that sucker all by myself ... like right now ... with a cup of coffee.
Autumn your wedding was beautiful! Happy Anniversary! I just love reading your blog always puts a smile on my face!! Love Candice :

Yes, I was there with Chris and Katy. It was one of the sweetest, most special weddings I've been to. I truly cannot believe that it has been 5 years, Autumn. You two have lived a lot of life in those years! I can't wait to see where you'll be 5 years from now. Congratulations to one of my favorite young couples. (Besides Katy's and Sarah's!)
So lovely! I love the windy veil shot :)
