Ava spent Monday loving on her cousin Nolan.
As evidenced in the new Thanksgiving blog header, Mimi is the queen of holiday costumes. In the past we've dug through Mimi's boxes to dress Ava as a pilgrim, a turkey, and this year a Native American.
Funny story, Ava has a Fisher Price Little People Thanksgiving set with Native Americans, pilgrims, the Mayflower, and other items from the first Thanksgiving. She insists that the pilgrims are actually pirates, and will definitely correct you if you address them otherwise.
The chilly wind blew colorful leaves all over the the yard, so Ava and Daddy spent a blustery Friday morning raking.
This weekend we welcomed Ray & Sarah and Nate & Hannah to Norman. The boys were all gussied up for the big Tech/OU football game on Saturday. And yes, boys can be gussied. See?
The girls, all coincidentally in purple, headed to do what girls do when boys go to football games.
Cupcakes and shopping! Our sweet photographer friend, Amanda, spent the morning shooting some Christmas card pictures for us and stayed for a day of girly fun.
The tree managed to hold onto enough leaves to create a gorgeous backdrop for pictures. Not that these two need any help from the background, stunning.
Beene Beene made Ava three of the most exquisite dresses I've ever seen. Keep watching in future posts for the other two.

So sweet! (Oh, Nolan: I must meet you SOON!)
Great pictures. I love my little Native American.
Looks like you all had a great time. Ava looked so cute in the indian outfit. The one with her arms crossed looked like a cross between you and Sarah. So adorable. I know Nate and Hannah enjoyed their visit. I miss you guys and can't wait to see you!!!
Love you,
Mom, Baba
