Josh and I are requesting that everyone please refer to us as Herr and Frau Lockett from this point forward.
Absolutely no 'junk' in this trunk. Josh, Ava, and I will each check one of these trunks in addition to our large suitcase. They are filled with our ski clothes, shoes, spices, kitchen essentials, toys and books, and necessary medicines. Most exciting, Ava's is pink. Originally we had planned to mail our additional luggage, but to mail the trunk would have cost $600. We checked them for $55. Easy breezy choice there.
Look at us not crying!
I think I deserve some Christian Louboutin heels from Milan for this feat. Yes, pun intended.
Love and miss you tons. See you in 8 days from this post.
We barely pulled out of the parking garage and the princess was already 'calling' Daddy on her imaginary phone...just checking in.
I'm so thankful to report that Josh arrived safely in Switzerland! He has all wonderful things to say so far. The people who live in our building have warmly welcomed Josh and Tim (a fellow OU Law student whose family is also staying in Luzern for the semester). Josh says it's the most beautiful place he's ever seen, but has he taken any pictures to show us? No. Though I do have the camera so that may be partly my fault.
The three things Ava and I are most excited about seeing upon arrival:
1. The Alps out our living room window
2. The view of a castle from the same window
(an actual castle, not Ava's version of 'castle' which is actually just student housing)
3. Joshua Luke Lockett
And let me tell you, that list is NOT in order.
