Summer Fun!

Ava looks tiny in her new high chair, but she loves to sit in it. She seems to know that if she's in it, it's time to eat. She also went swimming for the first time! She loved the water and was VERY happy, despite the fact that she was cutting her first tooth. She's the apple of our eye!

6 months old

Ava is almost 6 months old now! She is a very happy baby. We are spending our summer visiting family and friends...and sleeping in. When we let her, Ava sleeps until 10:30 in the morning! She isn't crawling forward yet, but she's scooting backward AND pulling up. I keep telling her that, according to Montessori, she has to crawl before she walks. I think she'll be okay either way.
